The trust signals a Chinese buyer looks for

They are not the same signals a European buyer looks for, and they appear earlier in the decision. Most European sites put them last, or nowhere.

France → China

A European page tends to open with positioning and arrive at proof late. A Chinese reader is usually checking whether you are real before deciding whether you are interesting — so that order loses them.

What is being checked

  • That the company exists. A registered name, an address, a verifiable entity. Not a claim — something checkable.
  • That someone answers. A reachable contact in a channel they use. An email form alone reads as a wall.
  • That you are present, not just selling. Any evidence of being on the ground counts for a great deal.
  • That others have decided before them. Peer evidence carries more weight than a vendor claim — which is exactly why it must be real.

What to do when you are new

You cannot manufacture the fourth signal, and you should not try — invented testimonials are identified quickly and they destroy the first signal in the process. What you can do is over-deliver on the first three: make the company verifiable, the contact immediate, and the presence visible. A new company that is obviously real beats an established-looking one that cannot be checked.
